This multi-applicational chip, located on the front of your FSUCard, has the capability to store pre-paid value. Pre-paid value can be added in increments of $1, $5, $10, or $20 at any of the fifty Cash-to-Chip machines around campus. Use this pre-paid value at vending machines such as drink and snack machines, photocopiers, microfiche copiers, laundry machines, and laser printers.

Where Can I Use My Smart Chip?
Your FSUCard smart Chip can be used throughout campus to make purchases from drink and snack vending machines, copiers, and laser printers, as well as washers and dryers in the residence halls and at Alumni Village.  There are over forty Cash-To-Card devices on campus where you can load monetary value into your smart chip.  For an up-to-date list of FSUCard Smart Chip readers please look in your current copy of the Milestone planner.

How Can I Get Discounts At Vending Machines?
By using the pre-paid value on your FSUCard chip while purchasing drinks from Coca-Cola machines on campus you SAVE .10 cents per 20 oz. drink and .05 cents per can.  Plus .02 cents per copy at the copiers in the libraries and around campus

How Do I Use My Smart Chip At Vending Machines?
Step 1 Insert your FSUCard face up, chip first.
Step 2 Make your selection.
Step 3 Your FSUCard will eject automatically.
Do NOT pull your card out, otherwise push return button.

How Do I Know The Balance On My  Smart chip?
Every time you use your FSUCard Chip to make a purchase, the card reader display will show you the opening balance, how much was deducted for the product you just purchased, and then the amount you have remaining on your chip.  You can insert your FSUCard into any Smart Chip reader to see your balance without having to make a purchase as well.
