FSUCard Photo Guidelines - White Background

White Background

Take your picture in good lighting with a plain white backdrop, completely free of any textures, doors, bricks, landscape, artwork, clutter, etc. Also, refrain from group shots - your photo may include only one person (yourself!).
Having difficulty finding a plain white background? Download this plain white background, and use it to take a screenshot of yourself on Zoom, or simply find a free background removing/replacing app for your phone!

FSUCard Photo Guidelines - Color Photo with No Filters

A Color Photo with No Filters

Your photo must be submitted in full color, with no filters or other enhancements.

FSUCard Photo Guidelines - Centered and Forward Facing

Centered & Forward Facing

Make sure to position yourself in the center of the image, facing completely forward and looking at the camera.

FSUCard Photo Guidelines - No Accessories

No Accessories

Photos cannot include accessories such as eyeglasses, sunglasses, hats, headphones, or earbuds. Exceptions may be made for eyeglasses if there is no glare and religious attire if the entire face is visible. If you have questions, please contact us at fsucard@fsu.edu.

FSUCard Photo Guidelines - Cropped Appropriately

The photo should include space slightly above the head to the middle of the chest.

The fee cannot be charged to an online account. To get a replacement FSUCard, visit us during normal business hours.

The FSUCard to be replaced must be surrendered at the time of printing or the $15 replacement fee will apply. The wear and tear replacement cannot be substituted for any other FSUCard fee. Lost card replacements, or more than one wear and tear replacement within the fiscal year, are $15. The replacement fee for a stolen card may be waived if official documentation (i.e. police report, police business card with the case number) is presented at the time of card issuance in either a physical or electronic form. This fee may also be waived for legal name changes or change of University affiliation, as long as proper documentation is presented.
